You can Choose your Fate but not your Destiny.

God has appointed a destiny for you. He created you for that purpose. You were designed for it. Your life experiences and all the things that influence you are moving you in a certain direction that you are meant to go. Life would be meaningless without things working that way. It is true that the meaning of life is the meaning we give to it. But it is also true that the meaning of life is inherent in the existence of the universe and our destiny which God created it with. It is all a matter of aligning our thoughts with the thoughts of God in order to experience the perfect meaning of everything.

I love that moment….

I love that moment. When you’re on a long car ride, or listening to music, or reading. And you completely zone out. You forget your troubles, and everyone around you. You’re focused on that one thing, and that one thing only. You’re content, and everything seems peaceful.

Growing up ›

When I was just a kid, my teacher asked me, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Instantly, I and many other kids would say “I want to be a doctor, a lawyer or maybe the next president.” Now, when I got to college.. teachers would ask me what would I want to be when I grow up? I stopped for a moment and think.. “Now what?” I wouldn’t instantly reply that I want to be a doctor or a lawyer or the next president. I actually have no idea what to be. I’m still in the middle of finding myself unraveling my true identity. What I want to accomplish in life and everything. It is really hard. What do I want to be when I grow up? Hmmmm.

Who honors those we love with the very life we live? Who sends monsters to kill us and at the same time sings that we’ll never die? Who teaches us what’s real and how to laugh at lies? Who decides why we live and what we’ll die to defend? Who chains us and who holds the key that can set us free? Its you. You have all the weapons you need. Now fight!

When I am able to resist the temptation to judge others, I can see them as teachers of forgiveness in my life, reminding me that I can only have peace of mind when I forgive rather than judge.

Haters.

The reason they hate is because something must be wrong in their life so they are just taking it out on other people i am sure they don’t mean it… And the more people hate, the more people know you. Actually haters make you famous whether they hate you or love you, their still thinking about you.

If you are going to fall in love with me, it’s only fair that you know what you are falling in love with. You are falling in love with my insecurities, and my obsession with trying to figure out what everyone thinks of me. You are falling in love with my immaturity, my constant need to feel loved and appreciated, my overactive tear ducts, my internet obsession. You fall in love with my troubled past, and my hopes and dreams, and how I’m hopeless romantic at heart. If you fall in love with me, you fall in love with my self-hate and all my imperfections and my perception that nobody could ever love me.

But, you are also falling in love with the way my eyes will smile when I’m with you, the way I’ll text you in the mornings just telling you I hope you have a great day. You’re falling in love with the occasionally humorous and/or thought-provoking things I say, and the way I blush when people ask me about you. But to me, the most important thing will be that you are falling in love with me, despite me thinking that it is impossible.
